Students at St. Mary Star of the Sea School are prepared for and receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Eucharist in Grade 2.
Students are prepared for the Sacrament of Confirmation in Grades 7 and 8 and receive the sacrament in Grade 8.

| Because they share in the responsibility of assisting their children in the reception of these sacraments, parents are required to attend several meetings during the school year in order for their children to receive the sacraments of Reconciliation, Holy Eucharist, and Confirmation. Dates and times are listed on the School Calendar and reminders are sent home with the children. | |||
